Hopper barges can be used for the transport of materials such as silt, soil, gravel, granulate, etc. over water. Waterking supplies 2 categories of hopper barges. Divisible and not divisible. Both categories are made of very high-quality Grade-A material. 

The barges are made of Hardox, making  it more resistant to wear and tear. All barges of Waterking have good sailing skills.

Hopper barge 15 – 20 – 25 m³

The uniqueness of these barges is the low net weight. They are very suitable for ponds and narrow watercourses and shallow water. The barges can be moved by means of a push boat.

Their length is between 10,50 – 13,50 metres and are narrower than 3 metres. The barges are stackable and can be transported by road in Europe without special permits. 2 hopper barges fit on 1 flatbed trailer.

Hopper barge 25 – 160 m³

In this category the barge is divisible so they can be transported as ‘normal’ transport by road. The barge is easy to assemble on site. The hopper barges can be made to measure according to the specific wishes of the customer.
