Amphibious excavator WK 20 – WK 55
The Waterking WK 20 and the WK 55 are the smallest amphibious excavators of our fleet. With these 2,0 and 5,5 ton class machines, dredging and mowing activities can be carried out and they are extremely suitable for maintaining narrow waterways. Ideal when waterways are too shallow for a mowing-/ push boat or where working from the shore is not possible.
The machines can be equipped with additional pontoons as well as a middle pontoons (in between the tracks). This creates more buoyancy and provides more efficiency while working on the water.
Both amphibious excavators can work in shallow waters up to a depth of 1,10 metres. When the amphibious excavator starts to float, the use of additional pontoons is mandatory to carry out the work. The additional pontoons are equipped with hydraulic spud poles (operation from the cabin). The working depth with additional pontoons is approximately 2,50 metres.
This machine is adjustable from 1,50 – 2,50 m width and can also perform work in the narrowest position.
The WK 55 is the bigger version of the WK 20. With a reach of +/- 7,50 m, the machine is ideal to execute the work from the shore as well as from the water.
The machine is adjustable in width from 2,00 m till a max of 3,00 m and can even perform in the narrowest position. The amphibious excavator has a track width of only 80 cm which makes the ground pressure extremely low.
Both machines are easy and relatively inexpensive to transport with a mini low bed truck.
In addition, we can deliver different types of accessories, such as tilt-, mowing- and riddle bucket.
